I made my own blouse and jubah for a few times before. As a beginner, of course there is lack any where. What I want to share today is I think the best blouse I've made until now except the neck. :)
I used MyGFL's blouse note given by my colleague. MyGFL's website that provide this note has been changed and there is no more sewing notes can be downloaded but you still can get some of them in here or here. We should thank to the blog's owners for the sharing.
The note is quite easy to understand but you may need some time to read the step by step instructions and at the same time drafting the pattern. For those who don't have any experience in cutting and sewing blouse, I recommend this as your guide. I have never attended any training for blouse making but this note makes my life easy. Try it and you will believe.

This is my sister-in-law's bag.
Pattern used was same as the modified Novita Estiti's (modify little more). I added zipper as closure and 3 pockets with the zippered one outside and the other two inside. I used different fabrics for both lower and top parts. The lower one was English cotton while the top was unidentified (I forgot to ask the salesgirl) :).
So, here the pictures.

Assalamu'alaikum and a very good morning.
After a month and a half I did not update this blog, I decided to post on a project that I made some time before. Since I've no camera, I can't upload all the projects that I made within this period. It is not complete to share something without having pictures to support our words right?.
Project I wanna share today is what I call Novest Reversible. What is Novest Riversible? Novest Reversible is a reversible bag which I refer to Novita Estiti's pattern. Novita Estiti is the owner of verypurpleperson website. Click here to go to her website or you can click her link on the left sidebar. She has a lot of projects that she share in her website. Thanks Novita for sharing.
When I was looking at my project's photos folder, I saw some pictures of a few projects I did some time ago including this one. I was thinking that I will have something to post today. I will share this project and maybe later for the others.
I made two of it. For the first one, I totally follow the pattern that Novita made. It has no pockets or extra accessories. For the second made, I reduced the size and I added 3 pockets (1 outside and 2 inside the bag). I used all cottons to make it. Have a look on the photos below. :)

Finally, I'd accomplished my wish to make a dress for my niece. This is my first time making a dress for a little girl. Usually I made clothes only for myself. So, I borrowed one of her dress from her mom and I change a bit on it design (just a bit). Her dress is on your left, whereas my handmade dress is on your right. Fabrics used are Japanese Cotton bought from Isetan KL. It's so enjoying making a girl dress. What we should have is the design we want it to be. Get the measuring and change the pattern a bit or more to make it look different(if we wish).
To say the truth, I don't really have talent to be a designer actually. So, I just follow the original pattern and change a bit. Mostly, they are just the same.
As my niece entered into 1 year old on 12/09/10, so this dress is like 'baju raya' cum birthday present for her. After finished up this dress, I felt like can't wait to see her in this dress. When she arrived at my father's house to celebrate Eidul Fitri, I quickly put this dress on her. The dress was just nice on her. Just a little tight in armpit part. But overall, I satisfied with the outcome.
I think I want to try more since I bought a few of Japanese Cotton before raya. Different pattern of course...

Ini adalah wallet suami saya. Selepas saya cuba wallet pertama saya, suami saya minta buatkan untuknya satu. Saya ikut pattern yang sama seperti yang sebelum ini cuma saya tidak buat poket utk duit syiling. Suami saya tak suka simpan duit syiling dalam wallet (saya rasa kebanyakan lelaki juga begitu). Jadi saya tambahkan slot utk duit kertas. Jadi, wallet ni ada 4 slot utk duit kertas. Yang lain-lain sama seperti wallet saya yg sebelum ni...
Telah lama saya jadi pengikut blog Cik As cuma masih belum register sebagai follower. Blog Cik As adalah salah satu blog kesukaan saya.
Harap Cik As suka nama ni... :-)
Jom singgah di Tote Boutique Cik As.

Saya harap dia suka. Klu dia tak suka, saya akan open it for sale... klu ada yang berminat... :-)
This is my first trial in making wallet. Size approximately 6.7" x 3.2".
It has 1 slot for ID card (cover with hard plastic) and 6 slots for other cards. It took 2 days to completely finish (including working time + cooking time + outing with husband + etc). I used English (outer) & Japanese (inner) cotton. 2 slots for the cash underneath the card slots.
At first, I want to have a long zippered pocket but then I stitched it in the middle because the body is not sturdy enough. Problem comes when I want to close the pocket.
So, for the next trial I will change the interfacing and try to make it sturdy enough to hold coins...
Wait for my next edition of wallet...

Lapisan luar kain cotton 2 layer. Kemudian flannel 1 layer, PUL 1 layer, flannel 1 layer, bamboo fleece 1 layer dan bahagian atas sekali flannel 1 layer. Akhir sekali, velcro sebagai pelekat.
This is my Olympus FE-230 camera case that I just made. My camera case was lost when my husband and I went for a holiday somewhere around Kundasang. So this is the one to replace the lost and I love it very much. It is more safety because I used the 0.25" sponge as the interfacing. I don't really know the outer fabric is, but I think it is the one to make trousers.
Size is 5.5" x 3.25".
